Anyone has a blog here? Good! For those who have a blog already or want to have one, for sure you will be familiar with webhost (online server). This server allows your website goes online so anyone across the world can visit your website. But one thing that I concern lately is about the security of the webhost. Why? You know what couple weeks ago 2 of top ten web host company got attacked by hacker! They are Imotion and WebHostingHub!
I realize this since I host this site in WebHostingHub! I choose it because the feature, the customer support, the security, as well as the price pleased me at that time. Fortunately they handled this problem calmly and restored my data back to normal. I was shocked at the day I knew about this because I didn’t do any regular back up. I was afraid that my data gone forever!
So, what about your webhost? Is your webhost secure enough? Are you sure? From my experience, even a top class webhost company can be attacked so badly, so for those of you who host your website to some unknown webhost company, you should be careful about this. Do a regular backup is a good step to make sure your data is safe or take some extra service (this service is usually provided by any webhost company) to attempt automatic regular backup.
If possible, better for you to move your webhost company to top ten webhost companies because they have a better security program and even if they get attacked they know how to fix it professionally. Don’t worry, the top ten webhost company is also the top ten for cheap webhost company in the world, so you can get a better service with less money possible! J
